weekly blog post - WEEK SIX and SEVEN

These two weeks have been the same. During week six, we uploaded work from Morgans camera and continued to edit what we had on iMovie.

During week seven, we changed a scene in our video. We thought we would add in split scene and for the 3rd n 4th lessons of this week, we larnt how to do that and started doing so.

We had planned to film on the Saturday of week seven but this plan cancelled and we are going to film on Tuesday of week eight.

However as you can see from the image above, the different camera that we used had black lines on the screen, so we will need to film these as well.

weekly production log - WEEK FIVE

For week 5 it was half term, so me and morgan met up and sorted out all o the filming scenes I would be doing alone. This included photoshopping an image of me and the boy be doing scenes ith, and burning it, throwing chocolates on the floor and busying someones phonne call. We had told everyone where to meet and what time, but the main boy we were going t use kept canceling on us, so at the last mte we hd o change the boy.
However this worked out well and we were able to film all of out other shots. We had another problem, our tpe ran out so Morgan used hers as a back up.
this was the boy that was able to come in and help us film so we  got all of our narrative shots filmed over the holidays.

weekly production log - WEEK FOUR

During week for, we had four lessons. The first lesson we uploaded our clips onto iMovie and cut them down to erase any extra bits. For the second lesson, Morgan bought in the edited version of the song and we uploaded that to iMovie too and looked at how we would order what we filmed to the song. For the third lesson, we had a change of idea, we would put the argument scene, in the middle of the song near the end, and have the flash backs fading out with the fade out of the song. During the fourth lesson, we also added a heartbeat motion with the fade out to go with the beat of the song. This was pretty much all we could do as we hadn't filmed a lot.

On Saturday and Sunday we filmed more important bits, like me being upset in my room, the actual argument scene in the park, and where i see Marco cheating with India. The weather didn't much get in the way as most of the snow had melted but we worked our way around what we had.

Before hand, Morgan and I had sat down and thought about the costumes I would need for each of the scenes, and how it would match up to the days and what other people were going to wear. We didn't need props so that wasn't an issue.
