weekly blog post - WEEK THREE
During this week, we updated elements on out blog such as the location reccies and the job roles me and Morgan would have to do, we also handed in our draft shooting script. Our teacher told us there was not enough movement in our script so during the res of the lesson and some time after school, we completed it and added in alot more movement.
Not only did we finally finish out script, but we got all of the days sorted for when we would film, who would be there, where and all the shots we would film. We made sure that all of our work was on the blog in time as we would be filming on Tuesday 31st January 2012, so we made sure everything was up to date.
We also got the cast members to sign a wavier, like a contract to prove we have their permission to be in our video, they know that they would not have any rights when we edit or what they would be doing as we have the scripts. There were not many problems this week, juast making sure that everything was uploaded. The only hurdle we had to jump was to redo the shooting script which at first we didnt quite understand, but once we sat down and thought about it, we understood what the teacher had said, and now realise it would work much better than before.
Next week we plan to get the main parts of our video filmed, starting on Tuesday.

Location Reccies
Morgan went out over the weekend and took some 'practise' shots of some of the locations we will be working with in our video. We thought these locations would be good for lighting as you can see clearly in some of the shots how the suns shines through which would be good for shots in the morning or at sunset.
We thought the sets like the one to the right would be a good shot which we would possible pan from the right to the left
revealing the girlfriend upset as she just saw her boyfriend cheating. The lighting is good and we feel this would be good o show the mood of how she would be feeling.
There were alot of scenes we thought would look good, especially over the bridge looking out to the water as it is a romantic spot, good to show the boyfriend and girlfriend after the rewind, showing them happy and in love.
We thought about putting paths in the video as paths are a good way to show moods and feeling of the people walking down them, byt the way they walk, body language, facial expressions, and a good way to stop and show the argument.

Job Roles and responsibilities
For the making of the this music video, Morgan and I have allocated ourselves into two main job roles. These are;
> Camera Operator and Editor
> Director and Production Manager
I will be the Camera Operator and Editor, and Morgan will be the Director and Production Manager.
We have chosen me to be the Editor mainly because I am used to the software, and as I have done media before, I know what to do and I know I will stick to the plan. I am reliable and I will make the music video flow and make sure its all cut to the beat. I was also chosen as Camera Operator as I have also worked with the cameras we will be using, so I have the technical knowledge of how they work and I am experienced with knowing the camera language and what will look good. I will also be cast in the video, allowing Morgan to take over filming when I am in the shots.
We have chosen Morgan to be the Director as the main idea was hers to begin with, so she knows how she wants it to look, what goes where, who is in which part and what they are doing. Morgan is very commited to her work so she will always turn up on time with all the equipment and knowledge of shots with her. Morgan will also be the Production Manager, meaning that she will be in charge of the budget and the production scheduling, making sure everyone we need for the shots we film on wach day are there, with the correct costumes and make up. We feel this was a good decision to make as Morgan once again knows how she wants the actors in her work to look and dress, as well as knowing what is in the budget aand what we are going to need to spend on what during the production.
As we will need make up and costume put on the cast, we have allocated this job role to Morgan as she knows what will go with what when she made the plan for this video

weekly blog post - WEEK TWO
This week we simply finished off all of the work we had to do. This included getting everything signed in order for us to film in the locations we planned onm filming in, Taking location pics to test how they would look when we actually film > as you can see in the picture to the right of the page. We also planned, worte up and finished our shooting script for the music video. This shooting script involves the shot number, the location the shot would be in, the shot type we wopuld be using, the shot angle, and the movement of the camera also. We also had to right down what lyrics of the song the shot would go to, a breif description of what would be involved in the shot, the people in the shot and what props we would use. To the left opf the screen is only a small piece of mine and Morgans shooting script. There was a minimum number of shots we has to have, 100.. all of our shots together made 115 so were safe.
This week we also carried out a risk assesment, making sure that we knew the risks and how to overcome them in each location we would be filming in.
