An Example Of a Bad Corporate Video.
- I believe that this video is an example of a bad corporate video as even though, like the last one, it doesn't involve and speech, it also doesn't give out any information about what O2 is about. This video has relaxing music and very cartooned images, but it doesn't hold more than 3 elements of a corporate video, which are background music, images and some text.
- It does, however, have images of the O2 website and shows the viewer where to click to gain more information, but it doesn't have a main line of speech, or a voice over, and there is no main information, on each slide, there is only a minimum number of words, and if I didn't know what O2 was, I wouldn't of guessed from this corporate video.
- The cartooned images are a bit over the top, ie; buildings and flowers and swirly patterns, and its abit too 'in your face' advertising. Also, the texts are things like 'O2 green' and 'O2 philosophy' and this isn't telling the audience what the O2 company does, and in this sense it's not useful and woulnd't entitle people to see what it was.
- Although on a good note, it shows the awards O2 has won, ie; the best website and best angency.. this may help people want to look closer into it. But besides this there is alot going on, like the images of laptops linked with images of beaches and kites, and it doesn't all fit together.

An Example Of a Good Corporate Video.
- I believe that this video is a good example of a good corporate video, as it relaxes you with the calm music, which links to the organisation of the airline which is meant to be a relaxing flight, and it isn't over repeating itself. Even though it doesn't have an over voice or someone directly talking to the camera, it gives lots of images and videos, with captions and the writing in between is in a way better than an over voice as it doesn't get annoying and it's easily readable.
- The images of the locations the plane flies to are images that make you happy and want to go there, and therefore make you feel the flight and the air hostesses will be nice and friendly too. The images/clips of the people on the plane are really friendly and this would entice the audience to go to the Malaysia airlines, and also the amount of people you see going there shows that they must be a good company.
- In the video, instead of having an interview or a vox pop, they have introduced someone just by 'following' them through the airport and telling his story through images and captions. And with this idea, you don't feel intimidated or insecure by some directly talking to you.
- I also feel that this is a good example because it has real images, that are 'telling a story' and no cartooned images flying across the page. The images/clips are proof of where the holidays go, and they say in the text that they dont just fly to citites,

Unit 2 - Conventions of a Corporate Video
A corporate video is a long advert which entitles the audience to understand more about the organisation/company, by giving some background information and images/videos about the organisation/company.
